Who can join RRSource?
Adults aged 18 and over. Companies and organisations can join too, set up by an adult who represents them.
What is a Reputation Record?
A Reputation Record keeps relevant reputation history in one organised place. It can include verified identity, structured reports, supporting material, responses and completed Resolutions. It isn’t the same as a review or a social media post.
How is this different from a review site?
RRSource organises participation, supporting material, challenges and outcomes around a record. The person or organisation named in a report can respond and use the Resolution process. A published claim is still a claim, not an automatic finding of fact.
Do I need my own Reputation Record to view someone else’s?
Yes. Viewing a full record needs one of your own. This reciprocity rule keeps everyone mutually accountable, rather than making RRSource a one-way lookup tool. Visitors who aren’t signed in see an identity-only preview, and signed-in visitors without a record are asked to create one first.
Can someone dispute a report filed against them?
Yes. They can challenge a report and add context through the Resolution process. A report doesn’t affect an RR Score just because it was submitted, published, witnessed or linked. Only a completed Resolution can make it count.
Is video evidence recorded live or uploaded?
Uploaded. Supporting video can be MP4, WebM or MOV, up to 50MB. There’s no live webcam recording when filing a report.
How is the RR Score calculated?
A record starts at 500. Verified identity, accepted Peers and active clean time can make small, capped positive contributions. A report can only affect the score after a completed Resolution. Filing, threading, nesting, witnessing or voting doesn’t change it by itself. The exact weights stay private to make the score harder to game.
What if I don’t know someone’s Record ID?
If the person or business doesn’t have a Reputation Record yet, you can file a Redline Reaction on RRSource. It stays separate from any record until a verified connection is made.
Is RRSource an independent platform?
Yes. RRSource runs its own registration, identity verification, reporting, evidence, search, Reputation Records, Redline Reactions and resolution tools on rrsource.com.
Can businesses connect RRSource to their own systems?
API access for enterprise partners is in development. Meanwhile, employers, landlords, insurers and other organisations can search and view Reputation Records directly on rrsource.com.
