The words you’ll see on RRSource, in plain English.
- Reputation Record
- An organised, answerable history for a person or organisation, identified by a Record ID such as RR-10234.
- RR Score
- The live score on a verified Reputation Record. It starts at 500. A new report, link, witness or vote doesn’t change it by itself. Only a completed Resolution can make a report count.
- Reciprocity Gate
- The rule that viewing someone’s full record, or filing a report against one, needs a record of your own first. It keeps everyone mutually accountable.
- Verification tier
- A completed identity check, shown clearly on a record. Each check is displayed separately so viewers know exactly what was confirmed.
- Peer verification
- A way for people who know the record owner to confirm or contest specific claims, using what they independently know.
- Resolution
- The formal process used to answer, challenge and conclude a report. Only its completed outcome can make that report affect an RR Score.
- Evidence-based report
- A report filed with supporting material, such as screenshots, receipts, uploaded video or named witnesses, attached directly to the claim.
- Behavioural history
- How a person or business has actually acted over time. Different from identity (who they are) and credit history (how they manage money).
- Trust Intelligence
- Organising identity, reports, evidence, replies and completed Resolutions so people can understand the wider context.
- Trust Stack
- The different checks used before an important decision, such as identity, credit, risk signals and reputation history.
- RRSource Reputation Engine
- The system that organises reports, links evidence, verifies participation and calculates RR Scores.
- Redline Reaction
- A report about someone who doesn’t have a Reputation Record yet. It stays separate until a verified connection is made.
- Assurance
- A signed promise to let someone see your RR Score, your record or both for an agreed length of time.
